We are testing the Meebo Bar here on nukeSEO.com.  You'll notice it at the bottom of the page.  The Meebo Bar promotes your site on several social sites and allows site visitors to chat with their friends via multiple IM and chat sites.

We have tried other blocks as well as the basic widget from twitter.com itself, and just felt like there was a better way of doing things for this great CMS! This is just a Beta release for now as certain features are missing, but this block works and can be seen on our home page.

Just as web metrics firm Experian Hitwise announced that Facebook's traffic exceeded Google's last week (see graph below), nukeSEO.com announces the (fictional) April 1, 2010, (April Fool's Day) release of nukeFBO™ (also called nukeFACE™, both trademarks of nukeSEO.com) - FaceBook Optimization (FBO™) for RavenNuke™ and PHP-Nuke.

Features of this imaginative (and imaginary) product include:

• User registration, comment and forum posting via Facebook Connect
• Simultaneous posting of Nuke content on Facebook profile and group pages
• Display Facebook content (photos, status, connections and more) on your Nuke site

Let's end the debate: W3C compliance doesn't help your Google rank, and not complying doesn't hurt.  That's according to Google engineer Matt Cutts in his answer to the question "Why doesn't google.com validate?".

The pending release of RavenNuke™ 2.4.0 includes nukeSEO™ DH, which uses nukeNAV™ to enable modal popups for overriding the key HEAD tags for a page.  It does this using the jQuery plugin ColorBox.  nukeNAV™ also enables modal popups for user login and search.  But this powerful addition also enable lightbox functionality with either single or grouped images (i.e. for a gallery).  And it's really easy, too!
