Improved user management on the way
Date: Sunday, May 18, 2008 @ 04:16:56 CDT
Topic: PHP-Nuke

Here are some prototype screens of an improved user management module being developed for RavenNuke™ 2.3.0.  The goal is to increase flexibility and usability, with many improvements borrowed from the never released CNBYA 5.0, though the code is enhanced from CNBYA 4.4.2. A few of the planned features include:

  • Registration configuration options (e.g. admin approval required)
  • All user fields can be configured to be required, optional or absent during registration
  • Optional PM on registration
  • Unlimited custom fields
  • Agree to Terms of Service on registration and when changed
  • Re-request required fields at login (standard and custom fields)
  • Integration with RN-enhanced Legal module from DadaNuke
  • Integration with TegoNuke Mailer (SMTP mail support, as well as qmail, sendmail and phpmail)
  • Integration with NSN Groups / Forums groups
  • Integration of nukePIE with Headlines Reader (Change Home)
  • Integration of nukeWYSIWYG with user menu (Change Home)
  • Improved W3C compliance

User administration includes tabbed interface (appearance likely to change, read more for additional screenshots):
