Hi,

I have installed into PHPnuke 8.0 and all is working ok other than if I select a block of text and change its color this attribute is removed.

By viewing the source the following tag is being removed:

<span>

However background colors work ok.

The allowableHTML code has been modified as instructed with the relevant line being:

'span' =>array('class' => 1, 'style' => array('font-family' => 1, 'color' => 1)),

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Heather

Fixed it myself. There is a bug/feature in KSES that see's tags that end with a colon as a protocol.

Therefore the fix is to add "color" to the allowed Protocols in the Mainfile.php as a parament of the check_html function.

That's interesting...thanks for following up. We are considering replacing kses and, if so, will make sure to test this scenario.

Hi,
I have installed into PHPnuke 7.9. But I have the same problem of color values are stripped out from "span" tags.
I applied the above mentioned allowed_protocols issue also. But it does not work.
Any help?
